Alhamar is a new development completed in 2003 on the eastern side of Nerja about 2.5km from the centre of the town.

A good selection of facilities are available within walking distance along the seafront at Burriana.

The chinese was excellent as was 'Colonia' a Tapas restaurant right at the end of Burriana Beach. Can also reccomend 'La Barca' restaurant which is on the beach front.
